The Adjustable Head Support™, invented by Ken Lamm, P.T., and available for purchase, has a variety of functional uses. By utilizing the many leg options, the user has a range of angles from 3 degrees of extension to 15 degrees of flexion. When the optional front leg extenders are used, additional range is gained from 31-39 degrees of flexion. Experiment to find your best angle for relaxation.

The Adjustable Head Support™ kit includes a skid resitant fabric to help stabilize the unit. The kit also offers a template for making your own protective covers. These inexpensive disposable covers, formed with three simple cuts of a paper towel, prevent sweat and makeup from penetrating the face cushion, and may also be used to prevent cross contamination when the Adjustable Head Support™ is used for therapeutic or diagnostic procedures. Some people have used a washcloth for more absorbency when theAdjustable Head Support™ is used for sunbathing.

The Adjustable Head Support™ is effective in multiple applications:

Relaxation Prolonged Traction
Sunbathing Cranial Compression
TV Watching Surgical Procedures
Chair Massage Therapeutic Procedures
Prone & Supine Massage Diagnostic Procedures
